In this unique United Way position you’ll lead the way in cultivating relationships with both new and existing business partners across the region. Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years of progressively responsible experience in the field of account management, fundraising, sales or related field.  Knowledge of Account Management, Customer Service, Community Relations and/or Sales and Marketing, Project Management, Volunteer Management, and Event Planning.  Salary range is $50,000 – $52,000.  EOE

United Way of Virginia’s Blue Ridge, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven Coordinated Enrollment Specialist (CES) to support and advance early childhood access across the Ready Region West (RRW) service area. This role is central in developing and implementing a coordinated enrollment framework with public and private partners—including schools, Head Start, childcare centers, preschool programs, and family day homes—to streamline family access to high‑quality early childhood care and education (ECCE) opportunities for children birth to age five.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative relationship-builder who values community voice, data-driven planning, and culturally responsive engagement. They demonstrate respect, confidentiality, and alignment with United Way’s mission, vision, and values.

Successful applicants will possess excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills; have proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite; be familiar with navigating and managing information in databases and recruiting, managing and facilitating volunteer groups.

Associate’s in Early Childhood, Social Work, Psychology, Health Science, or related field with 2 years’ experience in a human services field. Experience facilitating group meetings is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood, family engagement best practices and/or social determinates of health preferred. Salary range for this position is $ 53,000 – 56,000 annually plus benefits.
