Fashions for Evergreens 2025 Recap

This holiday season, Fashions for Evergreens proved once again what’s possible when creativity, generosity, and community come together. In partnership with The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, decorators, sponsors, and supporters delivered one of the most successful seasons in the event’s history—turning a cherished holiday tradition into meaningful local impact.

Throughout the season, Fashions for Evergreens welcomed more than 18,000 in-person visitors, transforming the hotel into a festive destination for families, friends, and visitors near and far. Together with the Holiday Portraits event, the season raised an incredible $16,207.22 for United Way of Virginia’s Blue Ridge—funds that will support programs and resources helping local families thrive throughout the year.

The impact extended well beyond the hotel walls. This year’s displays generated hundreds of thousands of impressions across social media and earned widespread local and regional media coverage. The creativity and dedication behind Fashions for Evergreens also contributed to national recognition, with The Hotel Roanoke named one of USA TODAY’s Top 10 Hotels for the Holidays—a testament to the unforgettable experiences created by this community year after year.

• 1st Place: Sirens & Salutes — setting a new voting record with $3,736
• 2nd Place: Roanoke Council of Garden Clubs — $1,385.25
• 3rd Place: Bank of Botetourt — $668
• 4th Place: Willow Valley Lawn Care — $652.50
• 5th Place: Veteran’s Tree, sponsored by AUSA, VAMC, and VVCC — $591

• 1st Place: Creative Occasions Flowers & Events — earning a remarkable third consecutive win
